For me, building your new home is all about creating a space that feels like home from the day you move in. My greatest pleasure, after completing a project, is to see how you enjoy living there.
I’m a carpenter by trade and originally from the U.K., I’ve been building and developing in Boston and the North Shore with tremendous success for the past 25 years. My passion for building started at a young age in England with my father who was also in the business, I soon realized that this would be my future. So, after high school I enrolled in City and Guilds College where I graduated in 1992. Soon after, I found myself living in Boston where the work and development was plentiful, so I decided to form my own company B&W Construction Inc. As the years progressed and business flourished, I was able to expand into building new construction homes in Lexington MA. This new venture became so successful and high in demand that I teamed up with Eycon Builders. Today I find myself at the helm, as owner and operator of Eycon Builders, building beautiful homes all over the North Shore and great Boston area.
Luxury Homes with a Personal Touch
For the past decade, I’ve focused on building luxury homes to suit a specific site and neighborhood, personalized by your choice of finishes. I build only a few homes a year, so we can focus on every detail of construction and make sure the project is finished on time, meeting the highest quality standards.
Most of my recent construction is in Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts, historic towns favored for their strong sense of community, tree-lined streets, excellent public school systems and easy commute to Cambridge and Boston.
A Design to Suit Each Site
As I begin each home, I work with my architect to tailor the design to fit the specific lot and neighborhood. Details matter—orienting the kitchen to catch the morning sun; avoiding direct site lines into neighbor’s homes to respect privacy; terracing steeper grades for a graceful vista; designing floor plan flow to ensure easy access from garage to mud room to kitchen; creating open spaces that retain a sense of coziness, with nooks and crannies.
Once the shell is erected, I meet with you and your broker as you tour the property and get a feel for the space. After you’ve selected finishes—these may include paint, tile, kitchen and bath hardware, plumbing—we complete interior details, usually in about three months. All Eycon homes feature Energy-Star-qualified, stainless steel Thermador or Viking appliances.

Throughout the process, I stay in frequent contact with you and your broker. Good communication is essential to completing a successful project. I understand the stress that clients often experience when building a luxury home, with so many choices to make and deadlines to meet, especially if you’re moving long distance to a new community.
I strive to listen closely to your concerns, follow up on any issues and ensure that our shared vision for your new home is realized.
