
HOW MANY DESIGN OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
Each Eycon luxury home is built to suit the particular site. We work with a variety of basic designs and modify them to create the best fit for the lot and neighborhood. When adapting the plan, we take into consideration factors such as when and how the sun lights each room, how to ensure privacy from neighboring properties, and best placement in relation to lot grade.
Many of our homes feature traditional colonial styling, a farmer’s front porch and stone patios. You select finishes to personalize your home. These may include paint colors, kitchen and bath hardware and plumbing, and tiles for kitchen, bath and mudroom.
CAN I MODIFY THE DESIGN OF THE HOME?
Most design decisions are made before the home is constructed, by Mike and his architect, to suit the site.
You may have some options, depending on the particular design and timing of when you come under contract, to make modifications within the constraints of the existing shell, such as converting a first floor office into a spare bedroom or expanding a powder room into a three-quarter bath. You may also choose to have a finished basement or attic.
HOW LARGE ARE YOUR HOMES?
Eycon luxury homes range from 3,500 to 6,000 square feet. They include five or six bedrooms, an office, between four and six bathrooms, upstairs laundry room, kitchen, family room, living room, mudroom, unfinished basement and a two- or three-car garage. Most have a stone patio and farmers front porch.

We have built luxury homes throughout the best suburban communities within an easy commute of Cambridge and Boston, including Lexington, Concord, Harvard, Bolton, Winchester and many more. Many of our recent projects are in Lexington and Concord, beautiful historic towns valued for their elegant homes and excellent public school systems.
ARE YOUR HOMES ENERGY EFFICIENT?
We use state-of-the-art materials and procedures to ensure that your new luxury home is well insulated and sealed against air leaks. The frame is constructed with engineered lumber, a proven building material that stays strong and stable.
Our homes also feature several lines of Energy-Star-qualified windows and either high efficiency natural gas or liquid propane. We install Energy-Star-qualified Thermador or Viking appliances.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY NEW HOME?
On average, we take six to eight months to build your home. Timing may vary depending on design and finishes.
WHO SUPERVISES DAILY CONSTRUCTION WORK?
Either Mike or his licensed construction manager, with whom he’s worked for more than 20 years, is on site daily to supervise every step of your new home build. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality construction and attention to detail.
WHAT ABOUT LANDSCAPING?
We landscape your property to complete the aesthetic appeal of your new luxury home in a style that complements the site and blends with the neighborhood.
DO YOU BUY PROPERTIES FOR DEVELOPMENT?
Yes! We are always looking to acquire quality sites. You may contact Mike directly with information about your property.
There are no broker’s fees or repairs needed to prepare your property for sale. We can be flexible on closings. We will take care of all demolition, removal of appliances, boilers, furnaces and the like.
We take care to recycle construction materials, whenever possible, and are committed to reusing and repurposing as appropriate.
